Our Goal

At the Institute of Energy, Ceramics and Polymer Technology of the University of Miskolc, our aim is to promote and develop education and scientific creative activities in the fields of combustion technology, heat energy management and related areas; to train engineers with expertise in environmentally friendly energy utilization; and to support the publication of results as well as the maintenance of international relations.

To this end, the Foundation supports education, research, and other activities, including:

• the participation of university students of the Institute’s disciplines and specializations in study programs abroad,

• study trips of the Institute’s lecturers and researchers both at home and abroad,

• the hosting of lecturers and students from foreign departments,

• the invitation of guest lecturers,

• the increasing involvement of lecturers, researchers, and PhD students in international scientific life, and ensuring their opportunities to participate in conferences,

• the necessary conditions for research conducted within the framework of international cooperation,

• the further development of industrial relations,

• international professional events (in line with the Foundation’s profile) organized by the Institute,

• participation in the work of international professional (energy, environmental) organizations,

• the acquisition of books and journals,

• the expansion of the departmental information system.
