The Faculties of Materials and Chemical Engineering and Earth Science and Engineering offer the opportunity every year for pre-registered teams to participate in a science competition combined with stamp collecting, where in a cheerful atmosphere they gain a mindset-shaping perspective.
The competition series, named “Earth and Materials Science Adventure Tour”, aims to playfully involve children in the topics of sustainability, climate protection, environmental protection, and waste utilization. It makes available technologies, techniques, and attractions through which children can experience the playful side of science up close.

Application Form
We warmly welcome 5th–8th grade student teams (8–12 students per team) together with their accompanying teacher to the University of Miskolc!
As part of the Earth Day Adventure Tour, the main topics will be environmental protection and sustainability, while participants will also gain insights into the diverse world of earth sciences and materials sciences.
The registered teams will complete small tasks at stations led by university lecturers/researchers, collecting stamps along the way. Teams that collect the required number of stamps can take part in our quiz game, where they can win a gift package!
