Faculty of Materials and Chemical Engineering
Education
The challenges of our time drive the continuous transformation of our world, in which the world of materials plays a prominent role. Materials surround us, and through their development and shaping, we also shape our own lives. Our Materials and Chemical Engineering programs provide graduates with knowledge that they can apply not only in their professional environment but also in their everyday lives. Our Faculty places special emphasis on the sustainable development of materials and their technologies, ensuring that our graduates are able to keep pace with global challenges in the long term when entering the industrial sector. Our industrial partners seek out and employ our graduates year after year, often already during their studies.
At our Faculty, depending on the chosen specialization, students may study as materials engineers focusing on metallic or non-metallic materials, or as chemical engineers. Our programs include unique fields such as metallurgy, foundry technology, space engineering, and nanotechnology, which provide nationally distinctive expertise and diplomas. Thanks to our international partnerships, numerous opportunities are available for studying abroad. Our Faculty also offers its own internationally shared MSc program, which awards a double degree.
